Less than 24 hours
I tried to pack last night and each time I put something into the suitcase I took out something and that circle continued for two hours. I took all of stuff out and tried to put only 1/2 of it back. I stopped when I could not decide what 1/2 would stay at home and what half would go. ALl of that will be academic at 5 tomorrow morning when that suitcase heads to the car.

I finished that packing and was off to the airport by 6AM. The flight was oong but I slept most of the way. Day one was a quick tour of the city and then dinnner and a river boat cruise at night. It could be New Yourk City of Las Vegas here. You see no military and few police but they are traffice people. It is clean here and the people very polite.
Day two was the visit to the fantastic 2400 year old botanical garden with lots of stone and water. Shopping was on the agenda and I saw 4 temples and cultural centers and a walk along the great river here. We went up 85 stories in a high rise and had dinner that was typical for the area and mostly vegetables. Having a great education here
make note of any kind of technology, not only cel phone usage, but gps's and laptops. are "hot Spots" or wifi advertised? is it free? and if you have a chance to experience a lecture or 2 what sort of "tools" do they use, power point, touch boards etc. thanks much, and enjoy Ernie p.s. gas now down to $3.40
